Middle positions

Middle positions are located between early and late positions at a poker table. The exact location of these positions depends on the total number of players at the table, but they generally apply to games with 9 or 10 players (full table). These positions are often called MP, MP1, and MP2, respectively.

Middle positions are crucial at poker because they balance early and late positions. From middle positions, players have the advantage of seeing the action in early positions, but they still need to be wary of late positions that act after them. This unique combination of advantages and challenges makes these positions the most balanced.
