late positions poker

Late positions (LP) are found in late position at a poker table and are called HiJack, Cutoff, and Dealer (Button). HiJack is the position two seats to the right of the Dealer, followed by Cutoff, the player who acts immediately before the Dealer, and finally the Dealer, who acts last in each betting round.

These positions are the most advantageous at the table (especially the Dealer), as these players have more information available before acting, allowing them to make better decisions, better control the pot size, and exert pressure on other opponents. In late position, aggressiveness is rewarded due to the positional advantage, as you can open with a wider variety of hands and make more bluffs.
